AUCTIONEER’S NOTE: Folks, Kari has off-farm employment so has decided to liquidate her dairy herd (& farmette Saturday, August 22 – see description below). The herd consists of 52 cows of which 40 are 1st & 2nd calf heifers & young stock including baby calves & some steers. Be sure to mark your calendars now for Tues, July 28 & plan to spend a couple of hours w/us!!! You’ll be home early!!!

79 HEAD OF DAIRY CATTLE: 52 Holstein milk cows, some red & white, 25 fresh in the last 30 days & 10 close springers could be fresh by sale date; (40)1st, 2nd & 3rd lactation cows; 20 barn calves, half heifers; (3) 600lb bull calves; red & white herd sire; Holstein steer, 1,000lbs; the sale of the herd is times perfectly w/nearly 80% of cows either fresh or springing & milking good. Butterfat averages 3.5-3.8, protein 3.2-3.4; SCC average is 400; cows averaging 50+ lbs milk. These animals have never been pushed & only home grown feed has been used. If in need of milk now, this is the auction sale to attend!!!
