Our Memphis Team!

Lance Walker

Lance Walker founded Walker Auctions 42 years ago and specializes in conducting real estate, personal property and benefit auctions throughout the United States.

In the Memphis area he heads the Walker Auctions real estate division working with sellers and fellow Realtors in selling houses, land or commercial property that would best sell using the live or online auction format. He and his auctioneer wife Terri have pioneered the sale of real estate and personal property using an online auction format in the Memphis area through the MarkNet Alliance online auction bidding portal.

The active auctioneer also has M.S. and B.S. degrees in Education, is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute at the U. of Indiana Bloomington and the Certified Estate Specialist program through the National Auctioneers Association. Walker was elected to the NAA Board of Directors, has served as President of the Missouri Auctioneers Association and Vice President of the Tennessee Auctioneer Association. He was named to the Tennessee and Missouri Auctioneer’s Hall of Fame. Walker was once featured on a TV episode of Hoarders and the “You Bet Your Life” TV program. He hosts and produces an hour radio program and podcast on KWAM 990 called “Time to Sell”. Walker has served as anchor on the annual NAA IAC Live broadcast which was founded by his wife Auctioneer Terri several years ago.

He also has the reputation of being a leading benefit auctioneer and is very active in conducting numerous benefit auctions each year throughout the United States. These charities raise millions of dollars annually through the production of successful fundraising events where Lance is involved as auctioneer and advisor. Walker co-wrote the Benefit Auction Specialist curriculum for benefit auctioneers and taught the course to hundreds of auctioneers through the National Auctioneers Association.


Terri Walker 


Terri Walker, CES is dynamic auctioneer has an exceptionally pleasing and understandable auction chant. Her southern drawl adds to her charm and compliments her bid calling skills. She is experienced at entertaining an auction crowd for two to three hours during the live auction. She has a reputation of coaxing the last dollar out of a bidder and making the buyer feel good about it. Terri is a second generation auctioneer and is an avid jogger.

She has placed First in the International Auctioneers Bid Calling Competition, is a past Grand Champions Tennessee Auctioneer,  and served as Chair of the Tennessee Auctioneers Commission. Terri conducts auction educational seminars and has served as instructor at the Missouri Auction School. She and Lance have been involved in more than 1500 auctions. Terri Walker has M.S. and B.S degrees in Education and has completed the Certified Estate Specialist, the BAS designations and two years of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. She has been featured on the cover of Memphis Woman Magazine.


Eric Walker

Eric Walker, the best fiddle playing auctioneer around, is an Associate Realtor and Auctioneer in Memphis TN and son of Lance and Terri Walker. Having grown up working auctions in Memphis TN, he is thoroughly experienced in many aspects of the auction profession. He manages all business liquidations, heavy equipment sales, and firearm auctions for Walker Auctions. Eric has handled the sale of a large diversity of assets from industries such as metal fabrication, construction, asphalt sealant,  auto-work, and more! 

Eric is a University of Memphis graduate and is currently completing the Certified Auctioneer Institute through the National Auctioneers Association. When not helping run the family business, he spends time with his wife Amber and their St. Bernard Piper.


Our Nashville Team!

Rhonda Keckley


Rhonda Keckley is the Supervising Manager of Walker Auctions Nashville. Raised in an auctioneer’s family, Rhonda is a natural to lead the team and capitalize on the diverse Nashville market. Previously, Rhonda was the co-owner of The Keckley Group, a healthcare market research company focusing on consumer health and healthcare providers. As Education Director she was responsible for maximizing sales and coordinating daily operations. Her next career took her back to college where she earned her Master’s in Education with a certification in reading. The next 12 years, she served as a classroom teacher, a reading specialist, and a librarian for graders Pre-k – 8th grade. 

When not working, Rhonda enjoys reading, hiking, golfing, boxing, pickle ball and spending time with her family, especially her grandson in Seattle. 


Kate Maffei McGuinness


Kate McGuinness is a Project Manager at Walker Auctions Nashville. With over 20 years of marketing and logistics experience, Kate is responsible for managing the daily operations and customer relationships unique to each auction.

Previously, Kate was Vice President of Marketing & Licensing at Big Time Toys, LLC where she led a team in the development of over 200 products to maximize sales and meet profit goals. Kate's responsibilities included defining the product line’s strategic message to best position the line at Wal-Mart and Target. She also managed the Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Sanrio and Warner Brothers relationship. Most recently, Kate has focused on her three children by volunteering at school, coaching basketball and volleyball and substitute teaching.

When not helping with an auction, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball with her friends and traveling for youth sports tournaments.

 

Sarah Keesee Vogel

Sarah Vogel is a Project Manager at Walker Auctions Nashville. Being both detail oriented and an avid multitasker, Sarah coordinates auctions and maximizes marketing opportunities through traditional and social media platforms.

Sarah is a Tennessee native who grew up in Memphis, graduated from UT Knoxville and went on to receive her Master’s in Education from Belmont University in Nashville. She taught for Nashville Public Schools for 6 years before taking time to raise her 3 young children: James, Caroline, and Benjamin. Sarah loves helping people find solutions to their problems. When not working on auctions, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, volunteering with the Monroe Carrol Jr. Children’s Hospital, and playing tennis.
